SANDHYA TALWALKER
About Me
After spending 14 years in the tech industry, I found myself drawn to the world of interior design—a field that allows me to blend my analytical thinking with my passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
My background in technology taught me the importance of user experience and thoughtful problem-solving—skills that translate seamlessly into designing spaces that not only look beautiful but work beautifully for the people who live in them.
My extensive travels across different countries have deeply influenced my design sensibilities. From the vibrant color palettes of Indian markets to the minimalist restraint of Japanese interiors, I draw inspiration from diverse cultural aesthetics to create spaces that tell meaningful stories.
Crafting Soulful Spaces with Cultural Depth
I am proud of my South Asian heritage and draw inspiration from it—the rich tapestry of colors found in Indian textiles, the intricate craftsmanship of brass and metalwork, the warmth of natural materials like teak and sandstone, and the subtle integration of artisanal elements that tell stories across generations.
The result is design that honors tradition while embracing modern spaces where vibrant cultural touchpoints meet clean architectural lines, where heirloom objects find new context alongside contemporary pieces.
