5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Design Ownership

All design concepts, plans, drawings, and creative work remain the intellectual property of our design firm until full payment is received. Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use the designs for the specific project only.

5.2 Portfolio Use

We reserve the right to photograph completed projects for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our design services. We are not responsible for:

• Delays caused by third-party contractors, suppliers, or vendors
• Damage to existing property during renovation or installation
• Issues arising from client-purchased materials or products
• Cost overruns due to unforeseen circumstances or client changes
• Final results that differ from renderings due to lighting, materials, or installation variations

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies and refund terms will be specified in individual service contracts. Generally, work completed up to the point of cancellation is non-refundable.

8. Third-Party Services

We may recommend third-party contractors, vendors, or suppliers. We are not responsible for their work quality, timeliness, or business practices. Any agreements with third parties are separate from our design services contract.
